A zoo keeper of the Sarabaya zoo in Indonesia has been arrested and charged for impregnating a female orangutan in the zoo.
Nothing seemed to be wrong in the zoo until the other workers of the zoo found out that one of their female orangutan was pregnant.
“Some animals seemed sexually aroused when it was time to feed them. But what made us most suspicious was when we discovered Marylin, our oldest orangutan, was pregnant. She has never been in contact with any other orangutans because of her aggressive nature, so it didn’t make any sense” Akhiroel Yahya, an employee of the zoo with 14 years experience explained to the news reporters.
The staffs of the zoo were troubled by the mystery of the pregnant orangutan. Out of curiosity and the desire to know, they decided on what do and how to find out how a female orangutan which had no sekxual contact with a male orangutan could get pregnant.
The 38 year old Indonesian zoo keeper was caught pants down having sekxual intercourse with the animals after he was filmed by hidden cameras put in place by the zoo officials. It was quiet obvious nobody suspected him until he was caught on camera in action committing the abominable.
“At first, we clearly did not comprehend what had happened. Marilyn has been secluded for the past 10 years, it was a total mystery. It is only when we placed several hidden cameras that we learned the horrible truth.” Abdoel Hakim, the director of the zoo admitted, as the whole situation infuriated him but he however denied that there was nothing wrong on his part as the director of the zoo.
“He said everything he had done was consensual. He said he loved each and everyone of the animals and was very sorry he had impregnated the orangutan. He says he did not know orangutans could get pregnant from humans.” Police Chief Abubakar Jaar explained to reporters.

“Contrary to popular belief, the orangutan species is much closer to the human species than chimpanzees. We share practically the same DNA code, with only minute differences, which could explain the orangutan falling pregnant from this man. Particularly in Indonesia, the genetic profile of some of the population is extremely close to the orangutan species, leading us to believe they’re might have been a common ancestor to both species only a few hundred thousand years ago,” explains Paleobiologist Bachtiar Pado Panghulu, of the University of Jakarta. Even if the animals’ DNA is similar to that of humans, it is still an animal. I don’t know what is so attractive about the animal that a man has to go to that extent to satisfy his sekxual desires.
